FedEx has kept commerce moving and delivered critical shipments throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact of the virus continues to generate elevated volumes, high demand for capacity, and increased operating costs across our network. To provide our customers with the best possible service during this challenging time, the following surcharge increases are being implemented:
Peak — Oversize Charge U.S. Express Package Services, U.S. Ground Services, International Ground Service
Jan. 18, 2021 until further notice $30.00 per package
Peak — Additional Handling Surcharge U.S. Express Package Services, U.S. Ground Services, International Ground Service
Jan. 18, 2021 – June 20, 2021 $3.00 per package
**June 21, 2021 until further notice $3.50 per package**
Peak Surcharge – FedEx Ground® Economy Package Services (smartpost)
Jan. 18, 2021 – June 20, 2021 $0.75 per package
**June 21, 2021 until further notice $1.00 per package**
Peak* — Residential Delivery Charge FedEx Express and FedEx Ground U.S. domestic residential packages (excluding FedEx Ground Economy and FedEx One Rate®packages).
Feb. 15, 2021 – June 20, 2021 $0.30 per package
**June 21, 2021 until further notice $0.60 per package**
Customers at the enterprise level who meet a certain volume threshold will be charged a Peak — Residential Delivery Charge. The scope of a customer’s volume shall be determined by FedEx at its sole discretion. The Peak — Residential Delivery Charge will be assessed in addition to the customer’s Residential Delivery Charge.
